LBT Field Station
In 2017, the Township acquired a waterfront parcel in Holgate on Osborn Avenue. The vision was to create a space as a clearinghouse for information exchange and a think tank reflecting our maritime culture and current day challenges and opportunities. The township Department of Public Works constructed the facility and township staff has brought it to life.
We hosted our first open house on June 18, 2021. Our mission is to offer an immersive and experiential facility, that will go beyond simple education. The hands-on programming we will develop and implement will inspire behavior change and show the value of our coastal heritage.
Check out our calendar to learn about the programs we have planned. You can register using the program links. We look forward to continue sharing this unique community space with you all.
